Workshop Overview and Curriculum

The workshop presents practical knowledge on the art and science of grant writing. The training offers participants’ a comprehensive step-by-step hand on experience on: 1) “How to” identify problem areas within the organization and/or agencies which funds are being requested; 2) “How to” find grants for the specific problem area identified; 3) “How to” write a successful grant that’s funded; 4) “How to” develop a custom-made response for Request for Proposals (RFPs); 5) “How to” manage grant dollars (funds) received; and, 6) “How to prepare and submit financial reports in a timely manner.
The curriculum is a comprehensive skills-based approach from experience to train participants “How to” apply the essential points of grant development and writing the proposal that includes, but not limited to:
